We are pleased to announce that AWA will introduce the personal authentication service (3D Secure 2.0) when making credit card payments, as a measure to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.

■ What is 3D Secure?
3D Secure is a personal authentication service provided by international credit card brands (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners). By entering a password or other information known only to you during credit card payments, it verifies that the transaction is being made by the cardholder, thereby preventing fraudulent use due to credit card information theft.
■ Changes After Introduction
From Tuesday, April 1, 2025, you may be required to complete personal authentication in the following situations:
- When registering/purchasing with a credit card when applying for a subscription
- When registering/purchasing a new credit card during flowers purchases
- When registering a new card to replace your currently registered credit card
- When the next payment is processed for automatic renewal of your subscription
Note: Authentication will only be required, and the authentication screen will be displayed, if deemed necessary by the card company's assessment.
■ What You Need to Prepare
Please register in advance for the "3D Secure Service" provided by your credit card issuer.
Note: Please confirm with your credit card issuer whether your card supports 3D Secure 2.0 and how to register.
