We are pleased to announce that we will be updating the search functionality in our iOS and Android apps.
First and foremost, we would like to sincerely apologize once again for any inconvenience caused to our customers due to past issues such as malfunctions and search failures.
Prioritizing the improvement of our customer experience, we have strengthened our search servers and revised the user experience, leading to this upcoming update.
Improvements
Change in Suggest Functionality
Search suggestion words will now be displayed.
Redesign of the Search Results Screen
The UI has been changed to make it easier to find what you're looking for by category, such as artists and albums.
Improvements to Search Algorithms/Search Servers
The search function will now be less prone to failures, making it easier to find what you're looking for, and will provide search results that take trends into account.
Regarding Availability
Scheduled for mid-March.
AWA will continue to pursue services that allow you to enjoy music comfortably, improving functionalities and expanding content, while aiming to boost the entire Japanese music industry.
