AWA Launches #PhotoToMusic Feature - Post a photo to Twitter and recommended music to match that photo is automatically replied to you

Starting on August 1 (Wed.), we have started providing a #PhotoToMusic feature where you can upload a photo to Twitter and have AWA automatically reply to you with recommended music that matches that photo.

In this feature, when Twitter users tweet photos with the hashtag #PhotoToMusic, the AWA official account instantly analyzes the photo and replies with music that perfectly matches the scene. Anyone who has a Twitter account can use this feature.

With the recent spread of streaming services, many people now have at their fingertips millions of songs from all over the world that they can listen to freely. At AWA, we have not only provided searches by artist or song name, but also an experience of using a playlist function to search for music that matches a certain scene or atmosphere. This feature provides an unprecedentedly new way of searching for music by using a photograph to encounter optimal music.

In the future, we also plan to install this feature of recommending music from a photo to an app and we will provide an experience where scenes can be more easily used to discover new music.

Moreover, during August 1 (Wed.)-September 9 (Sun.), 2018, we are holding a campaign where three people who have used the "#PhotoToMusic" feature will be chosen by a lottery to receive a gift of AWA original wireless earphones (worth ¥30,000). Please take this opportunity to enjoy encountering new music using a favorite photo or a photo taken on the spot.
